The MBL-UChicago 10th Anniversary event was held on July 21, 2023 and included Marine Biological Laboratory and University of Chicago leadership, faculty, students, and foundation and corporate partners for day-long panel discussions showcasing the power of the MBL-UChicago partnership and exciting opportunities for the future. The MBL-UChicago affiliation was the culmination of a long, productive relationship that traces back to both institutions’ earliest days. This digital exhibit documents interactions between the two institutions.In addition, the ϲappLibrary will display pieces from their collection related to ϲappand UChicago.

Colorful exhibits tell the story of the ϲappand its impact on life sciences. Live animals, stunning underwater video footage, a hands-on microscope, and an interactive squid are all part of the visitor experience. The Gift Shop offers a wide variety of unique ϲapprelated gifts including toys, games, books for children and adults, souvenirs, and clothing for all ages.

Highlighting the advantage that ϲappprovides to corporate partners through its abilities to incubate interdisciplinary research, provide expansive feedback on research and development, and to effectively market commercial products to its many visitors participating in research and education programs.
